Learning Center

The mission of the Learning Center is to provide assistance to students in developing the skills and strategies necessary to become confident, independent, and active life-long learners.
The tutoring staff, comprised of Pitt-Titusville faculty, provide direct instructional academic support that is tailored to the skill levels and learning styles of all students. Skills are developed by identifying strengths and weaknesses in various content areas, developing strategies for improving these skills, and providing specific assistance in almost any desired discipline. The Learning Center offers academic support in mathematics, sciences, writing, health-related fields, humanities as well as assistance in reading comprehension, study skills, test-taking strategies, time management, and goal setting.
